The VibeCoding Unconference

A free, community-run unconference about building products and tools using AI for entrepreneurs, technologists, and creatives seeking to learn from each other

What is VibeCamp?

VibeCamp is a one-day unconference all about building with AI. It’s designed for entrepreneurs, technologists, and creatives who want to share what they know, and learn directly from each other.

Everyone who attends contributes something: a talk, a demo, a discussion, or just a helpful hand. There are no keynote stages or passive audiences, just a full day of smart people trading tools, techniques, and lessons from the frontier of AI-powered work.

If you're building with AI, experimenting with new tools, or just trying to figure out what works, you’ll fit right in!

✨ How the Day Works ✨

The unconference format, here's how it goes!

9:30 AM - Doors Open & Coffee Social

Start the day with a relaxed vibe. Arrive early to grab coffee, meet fellow attendees, and settle in.
This informal time is perfect for breaking the ice and getting comfortable.

10:00 AM - Opening Circle & Orientation

We’ll kick things off with a warm welcome and orientation led by the organizers. You’ll learn how the unconference format works,
how to propose a session, and how to get the most out of the day; no pressure, just guidance.

10:10 AM – Propose & Claim a Session Slot

After orientation, we open the session board. Have an idea, project, tool, or question you want to share or explore?
Write it on a sticky note and claim a time slot.

You don’t need to be an expert to propose a session. Great topics include:

  • “Let’s debug my AI side project together”
  • “How I’m using GPT in my workflow”
  • “I want feedback on my startup’s MVP”

You can host a talk, lead a discussion, or just open the floor to explore a topic with others. Each room will have HDMI hookups for projecting.

10:30 AM – Session Voting & Room Setup

Once session ideas are posted, we all “vote” using stickers or markers to indicate interest. This helps us assign the most popular
topics to the best rooms. Not everything has to be packed, niche is good!

Rooms are then assigned based on interest and space needs. Organizers are on hand to help guide this process smoothly.

11:00 AM – Sessions Begin

Breakout sessions start. We’ll run multiple session blocks throughout the day, so you can attend several different discussions and talks.
Sessions are informal, interactive, and often collaborative.

Feel free to move between sessions. We call it “voting with your feet.” If a session doesn’t click for you, it’s totally fine to find one that does.

Light lunch will be provided so you can eat and mingle between sessions.

5:00 PM – Closing Circle

We’ll all gather to reflect, share what we learned, and celebrate the energy of the day.
It’s casual, heartfelt, and often one of the most memorable parts of the event.

5:30 PM - Afterparty

The learning doesn’t stop at 5. Join us nearby for continued conversation, connection, and chill vibes over drinks and snacks.

✨ Propose a Session ✨

Got an idea? Propose a session now!

The magic of VibeCoding comes from you... your experiences, your questions, your tools, your experiments.

Whether you want to lead a session or just spark a discussion, we’d love for you to propose something ahead of time. There’s no pressure to be polished or perfect, the best sessions are often informal and conversational.

Not sure what to propose? Here are a few examples
to get your wheels turning:

“How I Built My Personal AI Research Assistant”

A walkthrough of a weekend project using GPT, Notion, and Python to summarize academic papers and generate follow-up questions.

“Let’s Debug My AI Side Hustle Together”

An open, collaborative workshop session where you share a startup project and get live feedback, ideas, and support from other attendees.

“Prompt Hacking for Creatives”

A live jam session on writing wild, artistic, or unexpected AI prompts — from story generation to surreal image creation.

“The Ethics of AI in Small Teams”

A discussion space to explore how startups can think about bias, consent, and responsibility when integrating LLMs into their products.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to be technical?

The only requirement is an interest in using AI coding tools. Devs, designers, business and product folks are all welcome!

  • What is an unconference?

It’s a collaborative event where you help shape the schedule. Instead of pre-picked speakers, everyone has the opportunity to contribute sessions or participate in discussions. It’s open, flexible, and entirely built around your interests.

  • What should I expect?

Imagine a set of rooms with tables, chairs, A/V systems, whiteboards and projectors. Imagine a big, blank schedule board in the common area.

Imagine 100 of the most interesting people in the NYC area showing up at 9:30 AM to sign up for a slot on the schedule board to discuss how AI is changing coding, product development, and entrepreneurship.

What will the topics be? It depends on who shows up!

  • Is this a hackathon?

No. It's more like a 'show-and-tell for grownups building with AI.' It's a chance to be inspired and learn directly from peers.

  • Can I attend without presenting?

No ones going to hold your feet to the fire here, but this is a community event, and we encourage you to share what you know!

  • Where is it happening?

Our event will be held at the Betaworks:

    29 Little W 12th St, New York, NY 10014

  • Is there a cost to attend?

This event is free for attendees!

We appreciate support from the community, and we also want to help attendees connect with interesting companies in this space, so sponsors are welcome

  • Will the presentations be recorded?

We're prioritizing an environment where people can share freely, including works-in-progress. While we may capture some moments from the event, individual presentations won't be formally recorded unless presenters specifically opt in.
